Istvan Bekeffi
Istvan Bekeffi is a Hungarian writer, dramatic and screenwriter. He was born in Szeged in 1901.
He studied at the military academy and he ended up studying drama in Budapest.
He wrote movie and theatre screenplay. He wrote over 22 movie screenplays by himself or with another author and about 64 theatre screenplays.
He mostly wrote about good and modest people.
In 1957 he went to Switzerland where he began to write about the West German movie industry.
His wife was an actress who starred in his plays. His novel "Dog named Mister Bossi" was also played in the theatres as a musical.
He died in 1977 in Budapest.
